EVENT DESCRIPTION:
In concert with the MIT Department of Architecture’s celebration of its 150th anniversary, the MIT Club of South Texas brings you a tour of Houston as seen through the lens of MIT.
Narrated by renowned architectural historian Stephen Fox, the three hour excursion will highlight the Institute’s contribution to the Bayou City’s skyline and neighborhoods. Including works by notables such as I.M. Pei, John Staub and many others, the city is replete with landmarks with strong connections to the first school of architecture in the United States.
Upon returning to our embarking point at The Goode Company Taqueria, those who wish can stay for lunch.
