Join us in welcoming Katharine Kettner and Ruth Moyers of MIT’s National Organization for Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS) as they share the organization’s ongoing initiative on representation in reviews. NOMAS issues a public report each semester showing the basic demographics of reviewers as a tool for accountability and to remind our architecture community that it matters who we bring to the table for these end-of-semester conversations. The organization’s overall mission includes championing diversity in design by calling for equality and fairness in our education, celebrating excellence in our discipline, and providing community members with resources to develop personally and professionally.

This event will also feature a conversational session with attendees on these topics and how interested alumni can help and work together with NOMAS.
