We are seeking a highly motivated and talented senior urban designer with proven leadership and mentorship skills.
The firm’s work includes programming, planning, design of new buildings, adaptive reuse, and urban and campus planning. Responsibilities:
Day-to-day leadership role in management of project teams and consultants
Direct design and develop documents for urban design and campus planning projects
Formulate and manage project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work
Lead proposal writing, estimating fees and scope of work, and attending interviews for potential projects
Engage in firm-wide design discussions and research initiatives
Requirements:
10 or more years’ experience
Professional architectural degree required; advanced architectural degree or advanced degree or concentration in urban design or planning a plus
Experience in architectural design, urban design and campus planning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Graphics Suite, and Microsoft Office
Architectural licensure preferred. LEED accreditation or other green building professional certification is a plus.
