Jacob Kain M.Arch '00, founding President of MITArchA (the MIT Architecture Alumni Affinity Group) received the Harold E. Lobdell ’17 Distinguished Service Award from the MIT Alumni Association. The award recognizes service to the Alumni Association and MIT that is of significant depth over a sustained period. Lobdell’s interest and commitment to MIT spanned all areas of alumni relations.
MITArchA is an affinity group within the MIT Alumni Association. Founded in 2015, it is open to all MIT Architecture Alumni, undergraduates and graduates, as well as current students and friends of the program.
MITArchA is a forum by which alumni can connect with each other, with current students and faculty, the School of Architecture and Planning and the Institute at large.
